This always gets me. Every single time.
It reminds me that I’m always part of something bigger. Where the things that are truly worth fighting for are not ones which necessarily bring comfort or security. It calls for a belief so deep you would stake your life on it. Someone did that for us. Perhaps it’s time we learn to do the same in our short lifetime.
Glory is not the honor one receives when placed high on the pedestal based on his or her achievements or success. It is majestic weighty presence of one who made the ultimate sacrifice so that others may live.
